Don't think about weight loss purely in terms of what you will lose - it's much more about what you will gain. Think about what you really want to achieve by losing weight. Is it to be healthier, look better, fit into certain clothes?
What if someone told you that you could be slimmer, fitter and more toned, but you would actually weigh more? Would that be OK? Think about what it is you really want.
You are not obliged to do anything and you are not being made to do anything, however if you choose to do something and want to lose weight, then it's helpful to have some structure and ideas about where to go from here. In this online book, we provide you with some pointers which you may or may not choose to take on board. There are no rigid rules which you have to follow; you can be flexible, and take away what you find helpful.
Before starting any weight loss or exercise plan you must consult a medical professional.
