It is common for people on diets to try to convince themselves that they love salad and aren't missing chocolate. However trying to pretend that you don't want something or that you aren't depriving yourself won't work. We don't like being deprived and can't fool our bodies; it creates conflict and leads to internal arguments.
So try new things to fill the void - new hobbies and interests that fit in with your fitness goals, or new healthy eating recipes and foods. Don't try to convince yourself that you like them, but find out what it is that you do enjoy - there will be something! Then take that new healthy hobby, interest or food and make it into a habit.
Before starting any weight loss or exercise plan you must consult a medical professional.
