As humans, we have a tendency to worry about or fear change, even if it is change for good. For example, people often worry about proposed changes to work roles, even if the changes are positive, and time proves them to have made the role better. People adapt very well to changes, but only over time, and we have inbuilt resistance to change.
This is very true of changing our eating patterns and adopting healthier habits. People often find it easy to go on a diet, because they know the changes to their eating habits will only be temporary, and they will be able to go "back to normal" afterwards. A permanent change is more daunting, so it's a good idea to make small changes gradually, and over time the bigger picture will fall into place.
Before starting any weight loss or exercise plan you must consult a medical professional.
