"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us" (Nelson Mandela, 1994). It is easy to place limitations and blocks on yourself. Often, these blocks stem from comments other people have made, which we internalise and turn into beliefs that we can't do something, or that it's going to be difficult, or that it has to be done a certain way else we will fail.
You need to question these restricting beliefs, and develop positive new beliefs that you have the ability and confidence to achieve what you want. You have the potential; but you should also balance this with your own health and well-being, and make sure that your goals are realistic and won't compromise your health in any way. That's why it's crucial that you always take medical advice before embarking on any new fitness or diet plan.
Before starting any weight loss or exercise plan you must consult a medical professional.
